Workflow Rule - Publish Documents & Drawings

 

Asite application provides ability to the Workspace administrators or the users with an ability to define Workflow Rules applicable during Upload and Document Status Change, based on 'Manage Workflow Rules' privilege.

 

Document Workflow Rule should be created on Workspaces using the following steps:

 

1. Select a Collaboration Workspace.

 

2. Select   menu.

 

3. Select Manage Workflow Rules from the list.

 

4. Click on Document - Revision Publish link in the left panel.

 

 

5. Click on 'Create new workflow rule' link to create a new rule.

 

 

 

6.  Workflow Rules consists of Basic Information, Rule Conditions, Assign Actions for Rule and Applicability of Rule.

 

7.  Enter the Basic Information for the Workflow rule including Rule Name, Priority, Description, Owner Organisation and user.

 

 

8.  Select appropriate rule conditions regarding fields and their operators.

 

9.  Select distribution groups and action to be assigned to them.

 

10.  Lastly, select the folders to which the workflow rule needs to be applied.

 

 

11.  Click on Save button to save the new Document Workflow Rule for Publishing documents.
