Purpose of Issue are identified within a Workspace so that all Workspace users may be aware of the process flow for their information.
Privileged users can Assign or Remove Purpose of Issue from the Workspace providing an active list of Purpose of Issue that can be used while publishing a document/ placeholder/ paper doc.
Manage
Purpose of Issue privilege is required in order to Assign or Remove
Purpose of Issue from the Workspace.
Assigning Purpose of Issue to Workspace / Workspace Template:
The following lists the steps to assign Purpose of issue to your Workspace / Workspace Template:
1. Select Manage
Purpose of Issue from the dropdown
menu
Click on
icon
to add Purpose of Issue values to the Workspace / Workspace Template.
2. Enter Purpose of Issue
3. Select Level Users / Organisations / Roles to assign access to the Purpose of issue
4. Set Access Permission for the selected Users / Organisations / Roles
Access permissions give following access to the users

User will have access to the Purpose of Issue while editing Attributes of the document |

User will have Admin access to the Purpose of issue and will be able to assign access permissions for the Purpose of Issue to other Workspace users |
Click on Add
Selected button besides the permission name to set permission for
the selected Users / Organisations / Roles.
Selected Users / Organisations / Roles will be displayed in respective
columns for the row of the Permission selected
Click on the
icon besides
the permission name to mark it as default permission
specifies the default permission
4. Click on Submit button to confirm.
Editing Purpose of Issue from the Workspace / Workspace Template:
The following lists the steps to assign Purpose of issue to your Workspace / Workspace Template:
1. Select Manage Purpose of Issue
from the
dropdown menu
2. Click on a Purpose of issue to edit access permission
Select Deactivate to deactivate a Purpose of Issue
Deactivated Purpose of Issues will not be available
for use unless re-activated
2. Select check box besides Role / Organisations
/ User's names and click on remove button to remove the access permission
for the selected Role / Organisation / User.
3. Click on Submit to confirm
FAQs
Q: Some of the Purpose of Issues, in the list on Manage Purpose of Issue page, are not hyperlinked. I am not able to manage the Access Permissions for those Purpose of Issues
A: You do not have Admin access to that Purpose of Issue. You can manage the Access Permission for only those Purpose of Issues to which you have Admin permission.
Q: Some of the Purpose of Issues, in the list on Manage Purpose of Issue page, are displayed in Italic font
A: The purpose of Issue is disabled. You can click on the Purpose of Issue and activate it to use .
