Purpose of Issue are identified within a Workspace so that all Workspace users may be aware of the process flow for their information.
Workspace Administrator users can Manage Purpose of Issues that can be used while publishing a document/paper doc.
Assigning Purpose of Issue to Workspace:
The following lists the steps to assign Purpose of issue to your Workspace:
1. Select Manage
Purpose of Issue from the dropdown
menu
Click on
icon
to add Purpose of Issue values to the Workspace
2. Enter Purpose of Issue
3. Select Level Users / Organisations / Roles to assign access to the Purpose of issue
4. Set Access Permission for the selected Users / Organisations / Roles

permissions give following access to the users

Workspace Members (View Only) will not be able to access the Purpose of Issue |
U - Access to Use - Attributes Change |
Workspace users will not be assigned this access to the Purpose of Issue |
P - Access to Use - Publish |
Workspace Document Publishers will have access to the Purpose of Issue while Publishing or Linking the documents |
A - Admin |
Workspace Administrators will be assigned Admin accessible to be able to deactivate - activate the Purpose of Issue for the Workspace users |
4. Click on Submit button to confirm.
Editing Purpose of Issue from the Workspace:
The following lists the steps to assign Purpose of issue to your Workspace:
1. Select Manage Purpose of Issue
from the
dropdown menu
-----2. Click on a Purpose of issue to edit access permission
Select Deactivate to deactivate a Purpose of Issue
Deactivated Purpose of Issues will not be available
for use unless re-activated
3. Click on Submit to confirm

Q: Some of the Purpose of Issues, in the list on Manage Purpose of Issue page, are not hyperlinked. I am not able to manage the Access Permissions for those Purpose of Issues
A: You do not have Admin access to that Purpose of Issue. You can manage the Access Permission for only those Purpose of Issues to which you have Admin permission.
Q: Some of the Purpose of Issues, in the list on Manage Purpose of Issue page, are displayed in Italic font
A: The purpose of Issue is disabled. You can click on the Purpose of Issue and activate it to use .
