"Workflow Manager" provides the team members having appropriate privileges and permissions to deactivate documents from different folders from the basket.
The following lists the steps to deactivate a documents from the basket:
1. Go to the Document Basket Listing Page.
2. Enter the search criteria for the documents that are to be deactivated.
3. Click on Search
Search
results will display the documents as per the search criteria.
4. Select the documents that are to be deactivated by marking the checkbox as ON.
5. Select Deactivate Documents option from the action dropdown.
Deactivate
Documents Privilege OR Admin
Permission on the
folder in which the document is published is required in order to deactivate
a document from the basket.
The selected documents
will be listed in the basket action page.
Deactivated document revisions selected
at Basket Main Page will not be displayed at the Basket Action Page.
6. Mark the Deactivate Entire Document checkbox against the document revision as ON, if you want to deactivate the entire document.
7.Click on the Continue
The
selected document revisions will be deactivated and will be displayed
with an
icon on all the pages and will
be displayed with an
icon
on all the pages if entire document is being deactivated.
A
confirmation of the document revisions deactivated will be displayed in
a result page as under:
If
you are not having appropriate privileges, a confirmation of the Placeholders/
Paper Documents not being deactivated will be displayed.
FAQ's
Q: I want to deactivate a document but I am getting a screen asking me to clear actions and unread comments.
A: To deactivate a folder you first need to clear incomplete actions and unread comments for all the users who are having any incomplete actions on any of the documents of the folder.
Q: I cannot access Actions dropdown in the Basket
A: Only the users with “Can Access Audit Information” Workspace privilege will be able to access Actions dropdown in the Basket.
