With the launch of Document Templates in Asite, organization administrators are able to prepare a library of templates which can be used by anyone having access on a project folder to quickly create documents keeping the format of selected template the base of document.

Support for setting attributes hierarchy when linking a form control to custom attributes
Whenever a supporting form control (like 'dropdown' or 'multiselect dropdown') is configured with the data source as 'Link to Custom Attributes', user will have a checkbox option called 'Set Attributes Hierarchy'. This option helps users enable hierarchy (i.e. setting dependency) on each of the attributes selected for mapping and get filtered values in dropdown based on hierarchy as configured in related attribute set.
It helps further with ensuring data consistency and reducing chances of errors due to form data when entered manually by users.

(New) Visual Workflow System Task - Assign Visibility on associated files
A new system task is introduced in Asite Visual Workflow module. Users can now configure a system task to assign visibility on private files associated with a form.

Batch Export of Forms in PDF
Users can now export multiple forms at the same time as PDF file/s directly using the right click options on forms listing area.

Print Secondary Files in Universal Web Viewer
Users having their projects configured with Universal Web Viewer will be able to print secondary files directly while viewing the secondary file in File Viewer.

New Features / Enhancements - 14th October, 2022

Historic Markups on Files (Update)
Consolidated Historic Markup record, applicable for projects where file viewer was changed from Thin Client Viewer to Universal Web Viewer, is now updated to include only the public markups available on file. In addition to that while viewing a file , if there is any historic markup/s available for the file, user be displayed a message to quickly navigate to the old markup/s by clicking on the corresponding link.

Asite AppBuilder (Upgrade): New custom functions added for 'Repeating Table' control

New custom functions ('Reset Repeating Table', 'Get Repeating Table Value', 'Set Repeating Table Functionality') in the scripting block enables users to :

Define scripts for displaying multiple responses in single form view (when using 'Repeating Table' control).
Define scripts for automatically inserting new rows, deleting existing rows, show rows / hide rows as applicable.
Define scripts to apply conditional formatting at row level based on the value of form field.
Define scripts that allow copying data from one repeating table to another
Get a better visibility on the information submitted via form.

Support for API data connections in AppBuilder
Introducing API data connections in Asite AppBuilder to pull information from other Asite Forms / External APIs.

This will enable project teams to produce more interactive and engaging forms and apps. Build logic and easily setup connection between 2 form types by mapping the fields. It supports pulling data via external APIs if connection is setup with external systems. Connection can be defined on individual form fields or on a particular form view as whole.

CDE: Controlling visibility of associated information
The security within the CDE files and form section is now enhanced that users can view a list of associated records to which they have access to. If there are additional records associated users will be informed to contact their project administrator.

The Quality Plan Module has now been improved to allow Quality Managers to alter the setting of the quality plan in the WebApp. As part of the configuration, you can edit the activity title, adjust the order/sequence, and related folder/form for any activity.

You will be notified by aSync if the file you have locally edited via aSync has a newer version of the same file available on Asite web application.
You will be able to view list of all files recently uploaded via aSync as a separate tab within the aSync app window.

Full Language Support
The Adoddle Field has been upgraded to include complete language support, including in the Sites and CDE sections. Your profile settings are respected by the App. Update your profile to see information in the language of your choice.

Track Geo-Location Information for files
Geo-Location information is now captured for files uploaded to CDE folders or auto-published via form attachments. This feature is also available within the Adoddle Field app. Project Administrators can now easily configure their projects to enable capture geo-location information.

New Features / Enhancements - 28th January, 2022

Security Enhancements
The security of the Adoddle Field App has been enhanced to support the Enterprise password policy for 2-Factor Authentication (2FA). To access the Field App, users must now enter the secret code that was emailed to their registered email address. This only applies if the policy has been enabled in your organisation. Please contact your Administrator or the Asite Helpdesk to enable this setting.
How does it work?
* The user inputs their login credentials to access the Field App.
* After successful authentication, the user receives an email with a secret code to their registered email address.
* The user inputs the secret code in the Field App * Congratulations, you have successfully logged into the Field App and have access to the data.
Note: 2FA must be enabled in the password policy as a pre-requisite.

New Features / Enhancements - 21st January, 2022

App Settings Update
Existing app settings for editing and forwarding of form messages are made more specific so that only form originator and/or form recipients are able to use this option. As part of this change, the concerned app settings under 'Edit and Forward' group is renamed in order to refer to the originator as 'Form Originator' and recipients as 'Form Recipients'.

Security Enhancements
Asite's Enterprise password policy has been enhanced to provide improved control over user access to the Adoddle Field App on devices. This policy is configurable, allowing organisations to ensure that only active users have access to the data in the applications on their devices. Please contact our Customer Success or Customer Support teams if you require this feature enabled.

Asite and DocuSign Integration
Send your forms for signature directly from Asite. Users of the Asite platform can develop forms, distribute them, have them executed with DocuSign, and then save them back to Asite for safe storage and sharing. This will make collaboration much easier and less time consuming. This seamless collaboration works with any app on the Asite platform, making it easier for businesses to automate their paper-based processes.

Enhanced Groovy Script Security
Asite has implemented enhanced security to restrict users from executing potentially risky or untrusted code via groovy scripts. As a user, you need to ensure you are using a script that is provided/verified by Asite, otherwise your script may not work as expected. In case you are already using a script which is not provided/verified by Asite or have any concerns regarding the script/s you are using, please contact Asite Support.

Introducing new editions - APM and CM (New)
Separate editions are now available for APM - Asset Performance Management and CM - Control Management. Selecting APM edition will display a tab arrangement specific to Asset Performance Management. Similarly, selecting CM edition will display a tab arrangement specific to Control Management. The 'Dashboard' tab will continue to remain the default landing area irrespective of the selected edition.

Model Issue Management (New)
Asite now supports creating issues directly while viewing a model. Along-with the issue details, a model view gets automatically captured at the time of creating the issue, making it convenient for other team members to visualize the issue.

Improvements in Asite Reporting
Users can now view all their reports by default under 'My Reports'. Additionally, you can navigate to the 'Templates' tab in left hand menu to view the Asite standard report templates. You can then create a new report or copy from the templates and redesign it as needed.
Note: 'Edit and Schedule' option which used to appear in the left hand menu of 'Reports' tab is now renamed to 'My Reports'. Additionally, 'Reports' option which used to appear as a left hand option in 'Reports' tab is now renamed to 'Templates' and it will appear as a second option instead of the first. Please note here that all the steps to manage reports would remain same except the left hand menu selection.

Attach & Upload Secondary Files in Bulk
Asite now supports uploading of secondary files in bulk while uploading files. This option will populate from the Upload window as well as while using the 'Import' option to import attribute details from Excel. While doing so, Asite will be matching the name of secondary file selected for upload (ignoring the file extension) with the files selected for upload and such files will be pre-populated on the upload window, making your file upload process even more convenient.

While selecting a location for synchronization, users can choose whether to sync only the selected location's plan or also include apps for the selected plan.

A new setting for 'Image Compression' is available within Adoddle Field. Enabling this setting will compress images while synchronizing app attachments from the Asite Cloud to device. Any image upload using Adoddle Field will continue retaining the actual image quality as usual.

For security reasons, it is mandatory that every form template uploaded in .zip format is encrypted. So if you upload a form template in .zip format from your local system or email, you may need to encrypt it before uploading it on Asite platform. This might no longer be required if you are uploading an updated .zip file of that same form template downloaded from Asite HTML5 AppBuilder tool.
